Faculty Relationships
Frequent faculty interaction is an essential to college student persistence. Students will have opportunities for informal and formal faculty-student interaction. RISE students are expected to interview a faculty member each semester that they participate in the program.
The assignment helps Program members make at least one meaningful connection with a faculty member. The faculty interview includes questions that stimulate meaningful conversation and assists students in gaining a better understanding of their professor.
